The Getty Center is a seven-building cultural landmark situated on 110 hilltop acres with a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, Santa Monica Mountains and Downtown Los Angeles. Dramatic elements include the exclusive use of beige Italian travertine squares that clad all seven buildings, a “town square” arrival plaza, and an expansive garden designed by artist Robert Irwin. The campus was developed to centralize facilities for the Getty Research Institute, Getty Conservation Institute, J. Paul Getty Museum, and the J. Paul Getty Trust.

Veneklasen Associates served as the acoustical and environmental noise consultants for this monumental project throughout the 10-year design and construction period.
