Children's Hospital Replacement Facility

In order to meet the seismic standards required by California State Senate Bill 1953, Children's Hospital Los Angeles created an updated master plan that resulted in a series of projects including this 460,000 SF new facility.

The facility will house acute-care pediatric facilities, diagnostic and ancillary services, and a Level 1 emergency department and trauma center. An emergency heliport for patient and organ transfers will be located on top of the Tower. The program also includes a 520-space underground parking structure and gardens.
